The Busiest Month For Studio Portraits
This is the busiest month of the year for studio portraits. As winter approaches, location shoots are no longer practical and the studio is definitely the place to be. We have lots of work booked in for November, mostly portraiture and a small amount of tabletop, product shots. We still have wedding albums to design and order before Christmas and a couple of Boudoir Photography shoots. I will also be exhibiting at a couple of late autumn wedding shows.
Pet Photography:
Being based in the small market town of Spalding in South Lincolnshire, we are surrounded by farms and farmland. Most families that live in the local area have pets, ranging from small fluffy bunnies to rather large horses. Our location is perfect for this with the quieter country roads and lots of open space. It makes sense, therefore, that as well as photographing people, we also photograph their pets, often as additions to family group photos, or on their own. We have several dog portraits to shoot this month and I am looking forward to the challenge. Unfortunately, dogs do not take direction as good as their owners, but it is all great fun and that is all that matters.
Weddings Shows for November.
5th November 2017, Toft Country House Hotel, near Bourne in Lincolnshire.
